Assassin’s Creed Mirage pre-orders are being cancelled
Bad news, Assassin’s Creed fans: you might want to check on your pre-orders! A number of people are reporting their Collector’s Edition pre-order for Assassin’s Creed Mirage was suddenly cancelled without explanation.
Last September, it was officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage would feature stealth gameplay once more in this installment, set during 9th Century Baghdad and following Basim from Valhalla as he develops into an accomplished assassin.
Mirage’s release date remains uncertain at present, although we understand it should occur some point this year. Yet fans have already placed pre-orders, even the pricey Collector’s Edition version on Ubisoft Store; but Reddit users report their orders have now been cancelled, prompting all to wonder what could possibly be going wrong?
Reddit user DeeEffTeeBeeEh posted to Reddit with their order showing as null on the store website and reported this issue through Direct Message (DMs). Following their experience with their purchase of AC Mirage Collectors Case.
Others chimed in as well: Aggravating-Hunt3423 stated their daughter looked into this and confirmed they are located in the US despite it showing “Null on her page and nothing to show,” Aggravating-Hunt3423 commented on. Others followed up by opening Ubisoft Support cases citing having similar problems while “Having this same problem; opened one through Ubisoft Support so lets see what their response will be”, wrote AssassinsCrypt; while UK resident xp_version1 further confirmed it all as being similar.
At time of writing, the PC version of the Collector’s Edition is listed as out-of-stock on Ubisoft Store and attempts to locate PS5 and PS4 versions result in a “Page Not Found” error; Ubisoft has yet to respond.
