Cyberpunk 2077’s stunning new “true next-gen” update has truly stunned gamers, taking them by storm with its breathtaking visuals.

Recently, CD Projekt Red released their Overdrive Mode update and it truly brought their sci-fi RPG to its full potential. Only available on PCs, Overdrive Mode takes full advantage of high-end Nvidia 40 series cards to deliver stunning 4K/60fps visuals that bring lifelike ray tracing visuals – but due to high requirements it may prove unplayable for some fans due to high specification demands – however there may be workarounds available: for example switching off high spec cards temporarily is another method
TechEBlog reports that all neon-lit billboards and vehicle headlights will now benefit from raytraced technology for realistic shadow effects – making Overdrive Mode even more breathtaking for PC users who possess this powerful capability! Your eyes are surely going to appreciate what Overdrive Mode brings.

Reddit user Aman690 shared her enthusiasm about Overdrive Mode’s additions to Night City by posting an eye-catching gameplay snippet, captivating fellow users in this thread with its beauty.

“Cyberpunk has always looked incredible, but this version takes it one step further!” exclaimed abbeast. It’s quite astounding to watch how quickly Cyberpunk went from looking like an old PS1 game at launch day (on PS4/XB1) to becoming one of the greatest-looking titles ever, pushing GPUs beyond their capacity,” commented an exasperated Mr. Blanket.
“CDPR were especially generous with this update as they plan on transitioning away from using their current engine in favor of Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) for future games,” according to Zuccoff.

Cyberpunk 2077 launched on December 2020 to mixed reviews across platforms; last-gen console users found it particularly unwelcome. Sony even pulled it from their PS Store before eventually offering up a second chance version that eventually proved more satisfactory for release.

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally living up to its potential and becoming closer to what was imagined for it, much to my delight. “Better late than never” certainly applies here!

Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Phantom Liberty will release later in 2018 featuring Edris Elba alongside Keanu Reeves as protagonists.
