FromSoftware have released the Armored Core 6 gameplay trailer and release date information.
Just in time. FromSoftware has delivered more video gaming excitement this year with Elden Ring; today the Soulsborne devs released the debut gameplay trailer of Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon which looks outstanding.
According to a press release, this new action game promises “full of mech action”, featuring fast-paced battles, in-depth customisation features and exciting boss fights.
Armored Core VI takes place on the planet Rubicon 3, not to be mistaken with any popular fruity beverage brand, where an energy source known as Coral has caused great destruction over half a century ago, yet was originally supposed to advance humanity’s technological capabilities. Now back on Earth again, resistance groups and extraterrestrial corporations alike are fighting over control of this resource, which involves your protagonist as an experienced mercenary mercenary in this battle for control – you are involved.
Plot aside, Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon offers plenty of mech action if you enjoy looking at, battling against or piloting them – both airborne and on land! Players will pilot highly mobile yet customisable mechas which must take into account environment changes as well as changing combat distances to be truly satisfying experiences; something which the trailer demonstrates beautifully.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon will release on 25 August, 2023 – we can practically taste its metallic taste now.
