GTA 6: Multiple Countries Unveiled for Update
I have said it many times: the wait for Grand Theft Auto VI continues. Although its development has been confirmed and ongoing for quite some time now, Rockstar Games continue to keep us guessing when a full reveal will happen – however soon that may be.
Last year, Rockstar Games was targeted with a major cyber attack where an hour of GTA VI development footage and source code was posted online, along with various screenshots. Since then, leaks of GTA VI’s map and romantic options are ongoing and recent leaks suggest it will cover multiple countries – making for some interesting guessing games!
GizChina reported that popular leaker Matheusvictorbr- took to Twitter, hinting that Grand Theft Auto VI might feature several international locations besides Miami and parts of Brazil. When one user asked “Are you confident GTA VI will at least take place there”, Matheusvictorbr replied “80% sure of Carcer City, VC Cuba among other.” Certainly an intriguing theory; we will have to await official confirmation from Rockstar themselves before making definitive judgement.
Last month, an anonymous source stated they believe fans would soon receive updates regarding GTA VI development progress; further, he or she speculated that the game may even be at its final stage of creation! We certainly wish so.
At Summer Game Fest this August, all eyes will be focused on GTA VI’s potential reveal or whether Rockstar opts to hold their own showcase event – only time will tell!
