While some GTA Online players may already have their eye on what may happen when GTA 6 finally releases, most are just trying to enjoy every second they spend in Los Santos while it lasts.

Since Last Dose missions offer plenty of rewards and new cars have recently been made available with secure storage spaces, there’s still plenty to keep enterprising criminals busy in this game, no matter their preferred gameplay style.
However, those playing Rockstar’s sandbox since 2013 still seem to have something on their agenda that could please fans of its predecessor, Red Dead Redemption 1. One such option was recently discussed on Reddit and may appeal to them as well as any Red Dead Redemption fan who may remember its predecessors.

Would you be game for trying and surviving in an altered version of GTA Online’s Los Santos that includes brain-eating monsters?
GamerDabiTodoroki began discussing this horror-inspired idea on GTA Online subreddit by asking their fellow players “Would any of you like if Rockstar were willing to organize such a zombie apocalypse event, in which we can fight undead enemies?”

Los Santos’ criminal masterminds seemed enthusiastic about this proposal, with user danndaman007 suggesting: “This could make for an amazing Halloween week or month – start small then have it worsen over time until all hell breaks loose for several days before making an end-of-it all reward offer if people make it through without getting bit.”

User piamogus suggested: “Make NPC zombies more aggressive at night and less so during the daytime; also consider eliminating civilian cars driving on roads but adding in abandoned empty vehicles instead for added realism.”

SixStringStoner_ and LegendNomad suggested that such an event might provide the chance to encourage players to utilize vehicles other than high-performance autos such as those featured in Arena War’s updated release; for instance, vehicles designed specifically to survive an apocalyptic scenario such as those available through its update would provide great incentive.

“To add even more chaos and tension into GTA Online, user whiteboysgotmeonPCP proposed another idea which may bring some element similar to San Andreas riot near its conclusion: (an event similar to) Los Santos being in disarray while Blaine County remains relatively unchanged – an effective way of closing off this game before GTA 6 comes out (maybe?).”
