*Latest* FIFA 23 cover stars – Mbappe & Kerr
FIFA 23 is close! We’ve just had our first cover star reveal, and it’s historic!
Sam Kerr will be FIFA’s first female cover star.
The Australian will join Kylian Mbappe from France, who will make his third appearance on the Ultimate Edition FIFA 23.
Mbappe was also confirmed cover star for FIFA 23. Kerr is also featured on another cover, which means there are two standard game editions.
This is the first time the Frenchman has had three solo covers in one row – it’s a first for this series.
It is an excellent move by Kerr and the franchise to feature Kerr on the front. This shows how much the women’s game is becoming popular across Europe after being so popular in the USA.
This is also confirmation of the addition of new leagues to the game. Many women’s teams are of significant additions to this year’s FIFA23.
FIFA’s Cover Star is often rated as one of the best players, and Sam Kerr’s appearance at the front of the magazine indicates. Even if she’s not the highest-rated player, the forward for Australia and Chelsea will be.
Mbappe is likely to be the cover star of the Nintendo Switch Legacy Edition, but that’s still uncertain.
Previous FIFA 23 cover star prediction: Erling Haaland
We felt Erling Haaland would make a superb FIFA 23 cover star.
The 21-year-old was a phenomenal player last season, and it would be well-deserved. Man City’s former Dortmund ace was a formidable goal scorer, scoring 22 goals and getting seven assists in the Bundesliga.
His quick, rangy stride is likely to be feared by the Premier League. This could make City the ‘complete attacking force’ – linking well with Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne.
After activating his EUR60m release clause (PS51.2m), Erling Haaland signed to Manchester City, making him one of the most important signings of this summer.
What about Benzema, though? De Bruyne? The GOATS Ronaldo or Messi? All options are possible, so it’s anyone’s guess.

He is a French international who needs no introduction. He is undoubtedly one of the most forwards in the world. So it was not surprising to see him taking the cover for FIFA 22. We’re happy to see him back on the cover.
Mbappe was the cover’s last two years. He is now the first FIFA player to be on three consecutive covers.
This is a fantastic feat, as he defeated stiff competition from Haaland’s Lionel Messi and PSG’s Lionel Messi. He has been associated with Konami and graced many Football games – even though he moved to PSG. (The Argentine wore a Konami branded shirt as his marketing material).
Haaland was the summer’s hottest selling product. It was also a beast throughout the season. We were therefore delighted to be able to cover it.
