New Items in FFXIV Online Store Let You Float Like Mary Poppins
Once again, it’s that time again when the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store expands their selection of items to spend your money on. While mounts, minions, and more can all be obtained simply through effort, these particular store offerings represent something else entirely; such as Cloud’s Fenrir or Balloon Mount can only be obtained there!
Today’s store update included items already present in Final Fantasy XIV but only accessible through certain regions – specifically two mounts unique to Chinese version of game that had only previously been available globally. With today’s change, those items can now be found worldwide!
The Magicked Umbrella and Parasol are new items in Warrior of Light that act as mounts, enabling your Warrior of Light to glide along mysterious air currents on seemingly fragile objects that support him or her aloft. While black Umbrellas offer shade in terms of colour contrast with pink Parasols. There are additional effects while these mounts are active; blue roses flit around an umbrella while pink ones feature pink ones as the mount is active!
“Decades ago, an esteemed Sharlayan scholar suggested that umbrellas could serve other uses besides simply protecting books from harsh weather conditions. Determined to prove her theory true, she cast a spell upon a pitch-black umbrella to grant it flight; with its aid she infiltrated Great Gubal Library during a night raid using its roof as entry way – making its journey into its roof through which blue blossoms bloomed as its path glimmered across sky,” reads its description for Magicked Umbrella.
Each mount costs $24 but for that cost you get it account-wide – reminding many people of Mary Poppins from Disney live-action adaptation, Square Enix seems aware that mounts conjure memories of Mary. Their showcase video for their mount shows Hume doing her Mary Poppins impression when using one!
There are also two new Orchestrion Rolls available at our store – Painted Foothills (Orchestral Version), representing daytime in Dravanian forelands; and Moebius (Orchestral Version), an upbeat orchestral arrangement of Alexander theme. Each costs $5.00, providing one single use item.
