PLAYSTATION GAMES COMING to PC – THESE GAMES WILL BE RELEASED ON PC BY SONY
We couldn’t imagine a time when PlayStation games would be available on PC. Exclusive console games were clearly defined as to what different owners could and couldn’t play. With the introduction of subscription services, and a natural shift in the industry’s perspective, the idea of playing PS4 or PS5 games on PC has become less outrageous with each passing day.
After the launch of Horizon Zero Dawn was a success, Jim Ryan , Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO, indicated that the publisher is considering bringing more of its titles onto PC. It’s hard enough to keep up with all the releases for a year. We’ve collected in this article all of the PS4 and PS5 exclusive titles that are available on PC now, as well as any that might be coming down the road.
PlayStation Exclusives on PC
Although the list of PlayStation games for PC that have been published by Sony or created by its first-party Studios isn’t extensive at the moment it does include a few big names as well as smaller titles. It is likely to grow over the next months and years, hopefully at a faster pace.
Helldivers
Helldivers may not be the AAA blockbuster that you would expect to launch this list but it is a twin-stick shooter full of heart and challenge. Although you can free its worlds by yourself, the co-op option offers the possibility of having fun with other players and the opportunity to have camaraderie.
Everyone’s gone to the Rapture
Everyone’s Gone To the Rapture is an open-world adventure game for first-person that combines non-linear storytelling with open-world gameplay. It’s up you to find out what happened in the village of Yaughton and why everyone left so quickly.
Get your guns ready!
Guns Up! is a side-scrolling strategy video game that’s free to play. It was originally released on PlayStation before being made available for PC. Tower defense-fueled chaos is what Guns Up! offers. You will be responsible for managing your small army and setting up defenses.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Zero Dawn, the first major PS4 exclusive, is an open-world action game that follows Aloy. He’s a member of an exile tribe who was born in a world where animals have been replaced with machines. The game is not only visually stunning, but it also has a long narrative that asks you to use different strategies when fighting mechanical beasts of all sizes.
Hunting Grounds: Predator
Predator lets you choose to play as the dangerous extraterrestrial Yautja, which wields its iconic tools, or as part of a human military unit that fights for survival deep in the jungle.
Days gone
Days Gone is a story about bounty hunter Deacon St. John, who tries to survive in the post-pandemic Pacific Northwest wilderness. He must survive against both the gangs and the ravenous zombie hordes. To stay alive, he relies on his motorbike and his weapons skills.
God of War
2018’s God of War marked a departure from its bloody predecessors. It took a mature tone and explored Kratos’ fatherhood role. The adventure still features violence. There is brutal combat against fearsome foes as well as figures from Norse mythology. Santa Monica Studio took the risk and now we can play the best version of the game on PC.
PlayStation Exclusives for PC Confirmed
Legacy of Thieves Collection will be the next exclusive PS game. It will feature Uncharted 4 and Uncharted 4: The Thief’s Ende. The PC version, which Iron Galaxy developed, will arrive “shortly thereafter,” according the PlayStation Blog. While Nathan Drake’s last adventure and 2017’s spinoff may seem odd points for PC gamers to jump into the series, it’s not impossible to support any Uncharted games being transferred over.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales
It was initially claimed that the game would not be available on other platforms than PlayStation. However, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered as well as Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales are confirmed to be coming to PC. The first will arrive in August 2022. The second will launch sometime during Fall 2022. Both models include keyboard and mouse support as well as adjustable render settings, Ray-traced reflections and other PC features yet to be revealed.
