PlayStation Plus Games August are Now Available. Here’s what you get
It might be your favorite time of the year if you are a PlayStation user. It’s PlayStation Plus catalog update time! My backlog is getting too much, but I know I can handle it.
PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will have access to eight Yakuza titles later this month. Until then, you can download the three Extra Tier titles only available until September 6th.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ll briefly recap August’s lineup. It’s very impressive indeed. Vicarious Visions Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 (PS4/PS5), released in 2020. Our review rated the game at a very high 9/10. GAMINGbible’s Mark said Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 was “about as good a remake as we’ve had.” This is high praise.
Rya Ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS4/PS5) might be a good choice if you don’t like skateboarding. James’ review praised the balance of “universal appeal” with “retro callsbacks.” This game could certainly tempt Essential subscribers to upgrade.
Finally, Little Nightmares is now available for download (PS4). Tarsier Studios created this puzzle platformer. It may seem simple enough, but it will soon make you relive your childhood nightmares. This was one of 2017’s top-rated games and is not to be missed. Get downloading consoles! You’ve got until 6 September. You have until September 6th.
