SKULL AND BONES IMPORTANCE – WHAT IT IS
Pirates are nothing without their identity, and Skull and Bones do not differ. After surviving the shipwreck at the start of the game, you will set out to increase your Infamy and ensure all players and factions in the Indian Ocean know you.
Skull and Bones’ version of the traditional experience system is Infamy. It allows you to track your progress. The system has ten levels with various rewards.
Skull and Bones Infamy
Unlocked tiers give you access to more dangerous jobs as pirates further away discover about you. This unlocks new vessels, weapons, armour and other resources. It also allows you to grow your fleet and ensure it is ready for any challenge.
Accepting and completing contracts, which are quests, for different people is a good way to increase your Infamy of Skull and Bones. The player was given the task of plundering a Dutch Merchant Company settlement. This was revealed during the game’s July 2022 re-reveal.
While completing contracts successfully can yield some Infamy, failure to do so will result in a loss of Infamy. You will likely need to be careful about which jobs you take.
