The Latest PS5 Update Features Highly Commended Features
A new system update for PS5 users is now available. It includes significant changes. Hideaki Nishino, senior vice president, platform experience, outlined all details in a post on the PlayStation blog.
Take a look at these incredible custom PS5 designs while you’re there.
First, you can now get 1440p HDMI video output (for those with compatible TVs or monitors). Stereo and 3D audio can be compared on one screen. In-progress activities from game hubs can also now be easily accessed.
The PS app will see some significant updates later in the month. Players will soon be able to start a PS Remote Play session directly from the App. Your PS5 must be in Rest Mode (with the App connected). App users can request a friend to play on their PS5 and share their screen. You can also watch them via the App.
For PS5 users in the US or UK, you can now search YouTube with Voice Command. You can now search YouTube videos anytime, even during gameplay, by saying, “hey, PlayStation”. You don’t have to stop playing the game to find a solution. You could also look at cat videos. You have the option to choose.
