What is One-Punch Man About

One-Punch Man, as the name suggests, focuses on a powerful hero who can defeat any opponent in one strike. This sounds absurd, but it is meant to be. Although Saitama has become a formidable force in the field, his training has also taken the joy out of his life. He longs to be challenged and even hurt again so that he feels alive.

After a tragic encounter with a Cyborg, Saitama discovers his incredible power and joins the Hero Association. He quickly rises in the ranks to be among the best of his members. One-Punch Man is a comedy as well as a serious show, as the Association’s internal quarrelling clashes with various threats to the planet.

Extraterrestrial threats make regular people into supervillains.

Who created the one-punch man?

One-Punch Man’s original version was a webcomic by the mysterious ONE. Many manga enthusiasts are still trying to unravel the mystery of the mysterious ONE, who is not known to be male or female. One observed that shonen anime had a similar premise. Young heroes train and gradually increase their power until they become the strongest or best. Because that’s where most anime and manga end, ONE thought it would make a lot of fun to create a series that begins where other anime and manga finish.

Yusuke Murata made the webcomic a manga and it was eventually made into an anime. Murata was so passionate about the work, that he took on the project while he was dying. He was able to pull through and all three versions are still being told today.

To follow the many versions of the story, a superfan would need to keep track of three chronologies. You can start by picking one version and sticking with it until you feel more comfortable.

Who are the Main Characters?

One-Punch Man’s main character is Saitama. We’ve already explained that he is a boring loafer who has a great source of power in himself.

Sonic, the defeated ninja Saitama defeated promises revenge. Meanwhile, Bang’s disciple looms in background ready to end the age of heroes.
