Developer Creative Assembly did not officially confirm when Chaos Dwarfs DLC would be released for Total War: Warhammer 3, but signs had already pointed towards Dawi-Zharr joining the list of factions in advance.

Datamined files discovered after the game’s launch revealed advisor voice lines mentioning Chaos Dwarfs, both from the perspective of someone who chose them and another race during their playthrough.
They both emphasize the race’s brutality and cunning, which are traits closely tied to their heritage in Warhammer Fantasy lore.
Warhammer 3’s Chaos Dwarfs race pack can be identified by the presence of a loading screen featuring Daemon Forges, Hashut (the patron god of the Chaos Dwarfs), and slaves.
Though the quote itself might just be added for flavor, it could also provide an insight into the race’s mechanics.
Needless to say, Total War: Warhammer III’s Chaos Dwarfs DLC release date did not occur in 2022.
In an article from late October 2022, the developer confirmed that update 3.0 would go live at some point during Q2 2023. It’s possible that Total War: Warhammer III’s Chaos Dwarfs race pack will also accompany this upgrade.

In March 2023, the official Total War Twitter account shared a short video which further hinted at Dawi-Zharr joining the roster of playable factions in this grand strategy game.
Although it only lasts six seconds, this clip depicts at least one Mark of Chaos alongside what appear to be enslaved Gnoblars all within a forge-like environment.
At the end, a spiked gauntlet of what appears to be a Chaos Dwarf grasping a weapon appears on screen. The video is entitled “The Forges are lit…,” and its description refers to Khazalid, the language spoken by these dwarfs.
On April 13, 2023, Creative Assembly released the Total War: Warhammer 3 Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs Campaign Pack, signalling that this epic race will begin its reign of destruction across the globe on April 13.
The wait isn’t long now and, thankfully, Immortal Empires and its regular updates should provide plenty of entertainment in the meantime.
