Upcoming Twisted Metal TV Series Just Got Some Really Good News
If you didn’t know, Twisted Metal would be getting its TV series. Sony Interactive Studios is developing the “brilliantly funny adaptation”. It even has Deadpool, Zombieland writers Rhett Reynoldse and Paul Wernick as executive producers, which is enough for us to say it’s looking great.
God Of War will also be adapted for TV. Check out this funny cut from the game (we only hope it makes it onto the screen).
According to IGN reports, Michael Jonathan Smith, showrunner, confirmed that the first season had ended filming and thanked the cast and crew for their hard work.
He wrote, “That’s it for season one!” The cast and crew of Twisted Metal were exceptional. Even with lightning delays and extreme heat, the cast and crew worked hard to ensure Twisted Metal ran as smoothly as possible.
“The last day was like camp. There were lots of laughs and tears. Sweet Tooth’s truck gave out ice cream. We can’t wait to show you this crazy thing we shot during summer. It’s time to upload!
Although it is not yet known when Terror Metal will be on screens, we can assume that it won’t be too long if filming is complete. This series is just one of many PlayStation IPs that will get the TV show adaptation treatment. Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War will also make their television debut shortly.
