Overview Warlord Britannia
Warlord: Britannia, the first in a series of immersive strategy games created by Solo developer Darkmatter Games, is the first. You will play as a Roman General who is given the command of a Legion and has to fulfill orders from the Emperor to conquer an entire Island. Immersive Strategy, A unique combination of first-person strategy elements, puts Warlord: Britannia into a new genre. Immersive- Strategy places the player in the first-person perspective of their character. Construct bases, conquer settlements and lead a large army.
You can disrupt enemy forces in open space using this Immersive Strategy perspective. Participate in battle and fight realistically with your troops to turn the tide. To fully staff your Legion, recruit up to 9 Roman centuries and their officers. Hundreds of Barbarians and Romans fought each other on the battlefield. Your legionaries can attack towns and strongholds, loot and pillage settlements, and impose harsh taxes that will send the population back home to Rome.
Dynamic Open World: Britannia is a world larger than 45 kilometers in area and divided by latitude into three geographically distinct zones. Your occupation should begin in the densely wooded Lowlands. Next, move north towards the rolling hills and farms that make up the Midlands. Continue north to the majestic and remote Highlands. These three zones flow together seamlessly.
Never force the player to load. Be careful on the roads and watch out for roaming warbands and trading convoys that crisscross the open world in real-time. The local population quickly shares your exploits, so be careful about your choices. You can manage the unrest in the area and prepare for rebellions and raids against your camp. Repeated Roman invasions and other violations will provoke aggressive responses from enemies.
