What Destiny 2 Needs Right Now Is an Enormous Frog

No doubt about it: Destiny 2 is in bad shape right now. From Lightfall being poorly received by players to server issues being an ongoing source of irritation for many of them, players are clearly unhappy about much that’s taking place within Bungie. Many have suggested changes such as more transparency or reinstating PvP within seasonal model changes but none has provided one definitive fix that would repair everything wrong with Destiny right now – simply put, Destiny needs one big frog of its own to step in and save her from this rough spot.

At first, this may appear absurd; rest assured we’re serious. In fact, before Destiny 2’s predecessor was even available for purchase, Bungie depicted an enormous frog as part of its concept art for it – which portrays more fantasy elements within Destiny such as goblins hopping onto its back to reach out towards humans in pursuit of goblin-riddled giant amphibians!

Now, Destiny 2 may seem far removed from this art; therefore a large frog wouldn’t seem logical in today’s reality. Yet we believe a giant amphibious being would solve or at least distract from all of the game’s issues; there are several methods by which this might happen.

First and foremost, the big frog could serve as an antagonistic figure. Imagine that after entering Lightfall and entering The Traveler for help in Lightfall, The Witness later emerges transformed into a big frog? Or is a big frog The Final Form?

Or the big frog could prove helpful instead, providing Guardians with guidance for fighting enemies of humanity or offering bounties tasking players with collecting space bugs for its sustenance.

Consider, too, that players could ride an actual big frog through Destiny 2, much like Donkey Kong Country features an Exotic Sparrow rideable.

No matter its form or execution, adding a big frog to Destiny 2 will unquestionably help turn around its fortunes and restore player faith in this game. Bungie must step forward now – let the battle for player trust begin!
