Samurai Warriors 2 is an action-packed hack-and-slash video game. It’s the sequel to. Samurai Warriors 2’s gameplay builds upon the original Samurai Warriors. It adds new characters and features to the game, including eliminating range attacks. Instead, it introduces two new special abilities that vary from one character to the next. The Survival Mode is a returning feature from the Samurai Warriors. This mode allows the player to choose a character and fight through an endless castle. As an added feature, the game includes a Sugoroku minigame. Up to four players can play this mode. Each player must choose a character. The game’s goal is to collect the required amount of gold, depending on the settings.
I was also not a fan of the text-based dialogue, especially at the end. While there is no other task for the player, tapping enter and reading are not my forte. I prefer games that allow for interaction all the time. The repetition of the vocal song (it sounded almost the same, but I’m not sure) was too annoying for me. I wished there was a way to skip these parts. They took me out of my game and made me roll my eyes, pressing mute each time.
It happened almost every 10 minutes, and it was getting more frequent. Instead of being irritating, it became annoying. Although the background music was varied and significant, it was still a good game. Perhaps the game was too heavily influenced by Undertale, which made’s ending seem a bit too familiar. It wasn’t as creative or original as the actual gameplay that led up to it. It was still a positive experience, despite these minor issues. I played it through in just a few days. It is recommended for those looking for something cute and simple to play in just a few days.
